Third World nation or some other awful place where my life would have
turned out much differently. I am grateful and appreciative for what I
have and what I’ve been able to do with my life. In the same respect, I
have tried to give back in the ways I feel are most appropriate. But, how I
live and how I help others to better their lives is by my choice - because I
am free.
America didn’t give me freedom, my creator did. America only
enforced his will. As such, my free will is a divine action and no one is
permitted to infringe on it. Not far-left liberals, not right-wing zealots, nor
any other misguided government policies.
I’m doing the best I can and all I want is to be left alone to do my
work, enjoy my family, and live my life without interference from the
countless people and politicians whose lives are apparently so empty they
have time to pry into those of others.
I wasn’t placed on Earth to be someone else’s political play toy.
So, here’s the deal: if you want to live in the rain forests or with
the polar bears, then I’ll consider holding a benefit to raise money for your
air fare. But, don’t ask me to live in a hut instead of a home, ride a moped
instead of an SUV, or live like some island inhabitant instead of an
American.
You don’t get to make that call.
